EARRNET' compiled and distributed to member countries and collaborators over 6 publications, sponsored and participated in several meetings/workshops and made backstopping visits to the national programs.

Workshops:
The Sixth Triennial Symposium of ISTRC-AB was organized by the Government of Malawi and ISTRC-AB. EARRNET's participation included 17 oral paper presentations and posters. The Uganda cassava program hosted three international workshops which brought together a number of scientists. EARRNET Coordinator and Regional Scientist attended several stakeholder meetings aimed at strengthening partnership with NARS. During 1996/97, five publications and presentations to various workshops were made possible with collaboration from EARRNET.
