To implement the activities, successfully partnerships will be formed with the following organizations:

1. National agricultural research institutes and universities in the member countries, who will provide most of the funding and staff for most network activities. RAIN will serve primarily as the catalyst and facilitator, not as a donor.
2. Training organizations.
3. International, regional and sub-regional organizations experienced in information and communication management, such as CTA and the food and agricultural organization of the United Nations (FAO).
4. Publishers and other information providers.
5. Public and private sector specialists in information technology and in information and communication management.
6. Independent consultants in information technology and in information and communication management.
