DESCRIPTION:Dates: 2-4 November\, 2023 \nVenue: Pinggu District\, Beijing\, China \nKey information: Under the theme\, Empowering Agrifood Innovation: Bridging Science\, Technology\, and Global Food Security\, the Forum is hosted by Beijing’s municipal government. The inaugural World Agrifood Innovation (WAFI) Conference\, is co-organised with government and several key stakeholders\, including China Agricultural University and CGIAR\, the event centers on the theme “Food Security & Future Agrifood.” It aims to foster international exchanges\, stimulate discussions on the latest agrifood innovations\, and promote industry-university collaborations. The conference comprises a main forum\, four thematic forums—including ones for university presidents and entrepreneurs—and the World Agrifood Science and Tech Expo. Parallel and sub-forums will cover areas such as smart agrifood\, bio breeding\, and sustainable development.
