We are updating our Members and Partners Register
Dear esteemed Members and Partners,

ASARECA is in the process of concretising its partnerships to facilitate implementation of various joint actions which are planned in our Strategy and Results Framework   (ASRF-2019-2018) and Medium Term Operational Plan (MTOPI: 2019-2023). To achieve this initiative, we have launched the process of updating the register of all our partner institutions and members, including our Founding Members through an online application process. This exercise is provided for in ASARECA Governance Manual. It is meant to collect upto-date data from partners and members. We encourage you all to participate in this important exercise.

Nous mettons à jour le registre de nos membres et partenaires

Chers membres et partenaires de l’ASARECA,
 L'ASARECA est en train de concrétiser ses partenariats pour faciliter la mise en œuvre de diverses actions conjointesprévues dans notre planstratégique et cadre de résultats (ASRF-2019-2018), ainsi que et le plan opérationnel à moyen terme (MTOP-1: 2019-2023). Pour réaliser cette initiative, nous avons lancé le processus de mise à jour du registre de toutes les institutions membres et partenaires, y compris nos membres fondateurs, via un processus d’enregistrement en ligne. Cet exercice est prévu dans le Manuel deGouvernance de l’ASARECA. Il est destiné à collecter des données à jour auprès de partenaires et membres en sous-région de l’Afrique de l’Est et du Centre. Nous vous encourageons tous à participer à cet important exercice.

Annual Corporate Report 2019: A Silver Jubilee in Coordinating AR4D

.Celebrating a Silver Jubilee in coordinating Agricultural Research for Development  (AR4D) in Eastern and Central Africa; hosting the ASARECA Council of Partron Ministers (CPM) Summit; flagging off the implementation of the European Union (EU) funded Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme Ex Pillar 4 (CAADP-XP4) Project; rolling out a new Strategic Plan and Operational Plan; pitching the adoption of evidence on Conservation based Sustainable Intensification of Agriculture (CASI) to the highest political level; successfully coordinating the implementation of the Animal Genetic Resources (AnGR) project and convening the General Assembly and AnGR Steering Committee; and for co-organizing the launch of the multi-purpose Regional Animal Genetic Resources Gene Bank in Entebbe, Uganda.These are some of the key highlights in ASARECA’s just published Annual Corporate Report 2019       READ MORE
