Enhancing Cross-Border Trade through Data and Information Sharing- Policy Dialogue

With support from the European Union and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and the Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in Eastern and Central Africa (ASARECA) jointly organized a virtual regional policy dialogue event on Enhancing Cross Border Trade and Food Security through Data and Information Sharing on October 7, 2020. This event was organized as part of both the Food Security Portal1 (FSP) project and the CAADP-XP42 project and was attended by 102 participants from around the world. The theme chosen for this virtual regional policy dialogue was data and information sharing, with a focus on regional cross-border trade of agricultural commodities and inputs and its implications for food security in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
