Under this intervention area, ASARECA together with its partners supports development, adaptation, dissemination, promotion, and scaling of demand-driven agricultural technologies to address priority regional agricultural transformation challenges; developing approaches, tools, and pathways for enhancing uptake of TIMPs; enhancing scaling up of priority regional agricultural value chains; and supporting development of private sector-driven agribusinesses and enterprises. The aim is to improve farmer livelihoods within Eastern and Central Africa.
