The Central African Republic joined ASARECA in 2020 and was formally admitted to the Association by the General Assembly in 2023. Since 2020, ASARECA has been working with Institut Centrafricain de Recherche Agronomique (ICRA) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to jointly address AR4D challenges. Between 2020 and 2023, ASARECA has invested US$ 570,000 to catalyze agricultural transformation in Central African Republic through key beneficiary projects. Through these projects 234,867 beneficiaries were reached, 457 stakeholders were trained, and 51 ha of land were brought under improved TIMPs
